Microsoft Windows Desktop
Windows - As one of the current modern workstation
standards, it offers productivity benefits to business due to the almost
universal familiarity. For the desktop workstation in a professional
/ business environment Windows 2000 Pro is still a working choice with XP Pro as the preferred.
We would note that while we're happy to assist with configuring and maintaining computers running the Microsoft Vista operating system we are still recommending waiting till at least mid to late 2008 before adopting it's use in business and other critical computing environments. Microsoft is still working on many driver and software compatibility issues that to date remain unresolved.
